Clockwork Angel (Infernal Devices series)
Cassandra Clare
Magic is dangerous-but love is more dangerous still.
When sixteen-year-old Tessa Gray crosses the ocean to find her brother, her destination is England, the time is the reign of Queen Victoria, and something terrifying is waiting for her in London's Downworld, where vampires, warlocks, and other supernatural folk stalk the gaslit streets. Ony the Shadowhunters, warriors dedicated to ridding the world of demons, keep order amidst the chaos.
Kidnapped by the mysterious Dark Sister, who are members of a secret organization called the Pandemonium Club, Tessa soon learns that she herself is a downworlder with a rare ability: the power to transform at will, into another person. What's more, the Magister, the shadowy figure who runs the club, will stop at nothing to claim Tessa's power for his own.
Friendless and hunted, Tessa takes refuge with the Shadowhunters of the London Institute, who swear to find her brother if she will use her power to help them. She soon finds herself fascinated by -- and torn between -- two best friends: James, whose fragile beauty hides a deadly secret, and blue eyed Will, whose caustic at arm's length... everyone, that is, but Tessa. As their search draws them deep into the heart Shadowhunters, Tessa realizes that she may need to choose between saving her brother and helping her new friends save the world... and that love may be the most dangerous magic of all.
okay so i love this book. now you may so... well its sci fi. haha honestly i'm a sci fi lover, well the basic stuff, not too deep into the weirdness. But the main reason i love this book, and all of Cassandra Clare's novels, are the characters. They are so dramatic, and funny, and sarcastic, and perfect, that i wish i were them or knew them because i know they would just make my life interesting. The fact that they are also British... it only adds to the pizzazz they have in my mind. yep great
Okay so this is the prequel to the Mortal Instruments book. if you remember i wrote about those earlier, quite a while back. Now you can read either book in either order. They don't hurt each other, but are both equally great. Now the characters are complex and there are many questions that are left unanswered but it just leaves me waiting for the next one (September 2011... Yeah I KNOW!) to come out. and i can't wait until it does. BUT UNTIL THEN THE CITY OF FALLEN ANGELS!!!!! COMES OUT APRIL 5TH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
also on the cover is Will.
BIG QUESTION will or jem. who do you prefer? duh duh duh.... and Jace or Will or Jem or Simon??? decisions decisions.
Sorry this is a short vague one.Limited time Hey better than nothing right amigo? I miss blogger. :)

British guys are indeed fantastic. I started to read this book and honestly it seemed a little dry and boring to me, so I stopped reading it. But, I am excited for The City of Fallen Angels :)
