In the summer between seventh and eighth grade, a best friend, a feared all knowing person, is gone missing, and lost without a trace. Tears are shed over Allison (the missing girl), and her family moves away from town. Years later, Aria, Hanna, Spencer, and Emily, are all living different life, separating after the "incident". But things are coming to haunt them. When the new girl, Maya, comes to town, Emily is starting to doubt all that she has known. Spencer is competing with her sister. Aria moves back from Iceland, after she left during the fall of eighth grade, and is having problems with her new english teacher. Hanna is having problems, as her boyfriend states it, "respecting herself." Things in the small town of Rosewood are going to change, and not for the better.

I don't know how I feel about this book. It's kind of weird and addicting at the same time. That is all I am saying. Also the dolls on the front kinda of creep me out cause they match the girl on the back.
