The Book Thief
The Book Thief
Marcus Zusak
Death is around every corner during World War I. Germany is being run by A. Hitler, and your shunned if your heard saying one bad thing about the him. Things are tough for Leisel. Losing her mother and brother, and being sent to a new town, and living with new "parents." The only thing she found sancturary in was books. Though she couldn't read, it is in these book that start Leisel's own revolution.
I love this book. It is one of my favorites of all time. In the beginning, it is sort of slow at first, but it gets good. I found myself being sad, excited, happy, depressed, and desperate at many point during this whole story. I love this book.
