February...
In celebration of the new and hopefully more successful month, I have decided to change my font. I don't know if it will show, but i wanted to tell you that it's different even though it may not appear to be. With a new month come, new book releases, new holidays (valentine's day), and new plans. Let hope that things go well in February and that things improve 10x from next month. Happy February!

Luck has to run out...
This is horrible. So our soccer team has been abandoned. Our coach has left us. Yes, i am grieving, yes i don't know what i am going to do without a coach. I don't want to stop playing club, but i just can't see myself playing with my friends team. I also don't want to go to a different club, but i just may have too. I just tried so hard to get onto this team, i just don't know what it will take to get onto another team. I just can't believe it. Wow. My luck ran out already, wow.

One Lucky Day...
So today is like my luckiest one of the year. first i totally forgot to attach a brochure to the back of a career report, but my homeroom teacher let me print one out on her computer. She is my favorite person right now. Also you know the lewis and clark project that i was working on the night before and the morning of? well i aced it, extra credit and all. It was great, tho we have to change seats in all our classes and maybe even switch classes on monday( we don't have school for the rest of the week. semester break) and i am hoping my luck stays with me.

You Don't Know Me
David Klass
This book is kind of annoying in the beginning. For example "the kitchen that is not a kitchen" or "the school that is not a school". But It is a good book. A friend who said this book recommended it to me and let me borrow her copy. Tho unsure at first it captures you, and makes you want to finished it. It is small book and is a fast read. It is about a high school student who thinks that no one know the true him. His is abused by his mother's boyfriend who lives in the same house. He friend but not friend gets in trouble and they both like the same girl, one who his nickname for her is Glory Hallelujah. It is a book that lasts the period of a short time, like a few weeks. The guy, John, is a kind of funny guy who lives inside is own mind. It is a short and interesting novel. I tried to get a large picture so you can read the cover. it is just an excerpt from the story.

This Lullaby
Sarah Dessen
Okay so I love this book. Not like The Hunger Games LOVE, but like it makes me laugh LOVE. So Remy, she always has this pattern with guys, she goes out with them, and right before it get serious, she dumps them, so as not to get attached. And she does not date musicians. On the other hand, Dexter (i love him), is a musician, and the first time he talks to remy is to declare that they were meant for each other and that the song that was playing was their song. Remy thinks he's a freak and the freak keeps on bumping into her until things happen. I absolutely love the character of Dexter. He is such a dork, kid, and is so funny. He is the lead singer of their band, Truth Squad and they hate spinnerbait. HATE SPINNERBAIT. (read the book and you'll get it). The whole story is really cute and isn't as deep and scar-ful as Dessen's other books. One of my faves and when i talk about my faves, I mean out of Dessen Books and all books, but mainly out of Dessen Books. And for all you guys out there, it is a girl book. Just making sure, because you know, sometimes there is that one guy.... JK
Hero
Hero
Perry Moore
Okay soo....... This is a weird book. I am just going to cut straight to the point. It is about a gay superhero. I know, weird combination huh? Well, Thom, the main character, is the product of ex invisibility superhero mom and ex no power but good enough dad. His mom left years ago and he had just been cut from the basketball team due to his "state". He then tries out for the "League" and is assigned to a group of other superheroes for training. I thought this book was kind of weird, but it was okay. Yeah. I'm done.
MeMe...
I have been tagged to do a MeMe by Grace so here is mine. It's where you take your name and a set verb and search it on google and then follow it up with the first thing that pops up. Yeah, it makes no sense, but you'll get it. Here's the format...

Q: Type in "[your name] looks like" in Google search.
Q: Type in "[your name] says" in Google search.

Okay so what was up with the whole fashion theme? I not like a fashion disaster, but i am also not a fashion model. Actually, if you google my full name, I come up as the first two entries, one for Chivas Club soccer team, and the other one for the 5K i ran called the Gator run.
And for books, I have just finished Hero, by Perry Moore and this Lullaby by Sarah Dessen and am currently working on a book that right now i cannot remember the name of... but when i have a good amount of time to work on them i will review. This is the last week of the semester and we are being bombarded with homework so i have to focus on that cause my grades have been failing( i still have an a... just a lower a).
Last day of the semester is one wednesday, so expect a post by then and then I have all of 4 days to read. I seriously have a problem. I bought 8 books when i still have to read like ten. I am behind. Also thanks to GraceNotGracie for tagging me.

Homework...
I should be doing my homework right now but i have successfully procrastinated a hundred point assignment to the last day... I know i know i should be working on it right now, but i am having a mind blockage, and when i have a mind blockage, i need a distraction, so aren't you guys lucky? I shouldn't have gone to soccer practice today but i promised my teammate (whose name i shall not release) Breaking Dawn and i didn't like not following through. But i realized something. when i play soccer i don't stress out. Well yeah, i stress out, but only about screwing up in front of PEPE (The soccer master) or my coach. But i didn't worry about my history project like i am now. Ugh, i just want to sleep, seriously, i need to prioritize. I also have to finish my english project about a children story we have to write and that is due monday. but this weekend is my best friend birthday party and she invited around 60 people, and i am sleeping over and i don't know how i am going to fit in that to my schedule, i will probably do it tomorrow, so i don't have to worry about it on the weekend weekend. I have decided for high school that i am done with P.E. I know this isn't book related, but i need to tell someone. I am going to try out for the soccer team and the volleyball team and my last resort is cross country. ugh. I really want to make the soccer team, but i heard it is really hard to. I also heard that next year that the volleyball coach is looking for tall players and i am not that short. 14 years old, 5'6" not too bad. Well i am tall compared to many of my fellow eighth graders at my school. Also i do have some volleyball experience, i made the 6 and 7th grade teams even tho then i had no experience. I plan to try out for it again this year as long as the practices aren't on tuesday and thursdays because those are my days for soccer. I love volleyball and all, but i don't pay a arm and a half of a leg to play for the middle school team. Okay, i should stop procrastinating and get it over with it. Wish me luck, and send telepathic signals to my History teacher to give me an A. Lewis and Clark. You gotta hate them. well at least for this moment in time.

Jinx
Jinx
Meg Cabot
Okay, just to start off at, Meg Cabot has written some of my favorite books. For example, the Mediator series.. loved it. Too bad it ended. So when i read Jinx, i expect it to be good. Well, it was okay. It could have been better, if i say so myself. It is one of those books that take a while to start but once you do, you want to see what happens. It is a light book, and that might be part of my decision of my "okay" vote. it is kind of absurd in part due to Tory aka Torrence. So okay so here's what it is about. Jean aka Jinx, has been a bad luck magnet all her life, but there is a reason for that... but i won't tell you because that would ruin the story. SO when she moves to NY to get away for a while, and goes to live with her uncle and aunt, there is this whole cousinly rivalry. I have a feeling that meg cabot wanted to have the effect where she leaves you with a bunch of questions and answers them at the end, and she did that... but not very well in my opinion. So it is an okay book but again, i have read way better. This is an easy read.

Coming Soon...
So i went to Borders (am i allowed to talk about them on the internet?) and bought a book called Wake. I also received the book Identical from my friend for my birthday. THANKS ANDIE BEAST (inside joke, read Speak, by Laurie Halse Anderson (forgot to write about that one, will later) to figure it out(but when you do, andie isn't like andy)(just a funny coincidence)). I went to the library and got Lucky T and Boy Meets Girl, which i wrote about. Also Code Orange, This Lullaby, a Dessen book, Hero, and Jinx, another Cabot book. so i have alot of reading to catch up on. I have been known to buy books faster than i can read them, but that is okay with me. Have any suggestions to what books i should read. Give me a book, i'll be sure to read it asap. And don't worry it will be a while before i run out of books. (i always have that nightmare, that i'll read all the good books and they won't get any more for a while. NIGHTMARE). Hey tell me about all your book induced nightmares.

Okay, so an upgrade to what I have been reading lately. You might not pick this one up because it is written through emails, instant messages, letters, journal entries... anything but a straight forward story, but it makes you think and figure things out. Don't get me wrong, i don't favor these kinds of books that often, but it is nice to switch it up once in a blue moon. So this girl, Kate, she just dumped her boyfriend of ten years cause he won't commit and wants to take everything one day at a time. Living on her best friend couch trying to find a cheap studio in NY. Has to fire the nice pie lady in her building because she refused to give pie to some customers because "they know why". Enter Mitch, stereotyped by Kate because he's lawyer and brother of the evil Stuart. He's having problems with his family and his brother (Stuart) 's fiance' because she's evil. When Mitch and Kate meet it's instant chemistry, though, their situations are complicating things, like the ex and distressed little sis who keep on popping up at the worst moments. Read.
A Pet Peeve...
Okay so you know when you read books, the characters sometimes have conversations on the phone? Well i hate when one character (lets say Peeta) calls another character (Katniss)(characters from my favorite book). Well so Peeta calls katniss but he's the first one to say hello. Okay i know usually when someone calls me that i am the first one to say hello or something, but i guess that's not how it works in books and all the character are magically psychic and know when to say hello before the other can, or they are so retarded they keep on saying hello every 2 milliseconds and when the other person says it back, they are good to go. This is definitely not a diss to Katniss and Peeta cause i love katniss and peeta even more. just used them in the example. I promise if i ever write a book i will not do that. As a promise to myself and to you, my loyal.... 4 viewers. Thanks by the way for that.

Lucky T
Lucky T
Kate Brian
Okay another filler. Okay first of all what kind of sane person would run all the way India from San Francisco to find a tee shirt? And even though the guy Dee (i know weird nickname for a guy) sound like a nice enough person, he seem a little to bipolar for my liking. I also think that the beginning is a little too short and vague to explain the degree of luckiness she has. Okay so somewhat lame story. Kate Brian, if your reading this... umm... stick with your private, last christmas, and privilege kind of stories because compared to those, your other books are kind of substandard. And so far i have read the Princess and the Pauper and same result of opinion. Sorry. Read if you have to or are really don't care and have a mission to read all the books in the world (oh that's me).

When It Happens
When It Happens
Susane Colasanti
This is an okay book. Enter Sara, looking for the perfect guy, and things she found him in Dave. Center stage Tobey, whose two main goals are to win Battles of the Bands and win Sara over. Both looking for the "real thing". I like this book mostly cause i like most books, except boring school books and stories. It keeps my attention, but is very predictable. The one thing i like about this story is that when you predict the ending you think it would stop there but it doesn't and goes on to tell a couple more chapters past the predicted ending. I like how you know both sides of the story the way the author switches from both character every other chapter. This is Susane's first book and I have read the second one called Take Me There. if you like this book, you'll like that one, because it has the same idea but different topic. It is split chapters but into three character. Will review later.

American Idol
It is the season of american idol. I know, i know, that isn't a book! Well, american idol is too crazy important to me to let this event go unwritten about. So far my favorites are MICHAEL CASTRO, Jason Castro, from last season, little brother, and Arianna (i don't know her last name), the 16 year old bluesy singer. The Bikini Girl, she sucked but noooo just because she has a bikini on she the best, ever better than Kara (NOT). Speaking of Kara D. I was nervous about her and was angry that they were adding another judge onto the panel, but now i have realized that she is a good addition to the judging panel. Well I have to go to bed now, but i will update about books and american idol on a later date.

Last Christmas
Last Christmas
Kate Brian
I know I know, i have been review Kate Brian an awful lot and the Private series, but it just when i start it i can't stop. Oh well. This is the pre-sequel/sequel i don't know of the Private series. I recommend you at least read through book 4 (confessions) before you even touch this book. It is what happened the christmas before Reed came to school. Can you even imagine? well you don't have to, just read on and you'll be on your way.
