Vampire Academy
Lissa Dragomir is a Moroi princess: a mortal vampire with an unbreakable bond to the earth's magic. She must be protected at all times from Strigoi; the fiercest and most dangerous vampires--the ones who never die.
The powerful blend of human and vampire blood that flows through Rose Hathaway, Lissa's best friend, makes her a Dhampir; she is dedicated to a dangerous life of protecting Lissa from the Strigoi, who are hell-bent on making her one of them.
After two years of illicit freedom, Rose and Lissa are caught and dragged back to St. Vladimir's Academy, hidden in the deep forests of Montana. Rose will continue her Dhampir education. Lissa will go back to being Queen of the elite Moroi social scene. And both girls will resume breaking hearts.

Okay, so i like this book. I would go even as far as to say i love this book. My favorite characters are Mason and Christian.... This is a must read. It is crucial for all living. I am not saying it's Hunger Games good, but it's very interesting. It seems to me that it is a mixture of all vampire books. A little twilight here, and little Marked there, and some Mediator spinkled in between. (tho not a vamp book, a ..... book. i won't ruin it for you) Rose keeps things interesting with all the flings she has with other dhampirs (half Moroi and half dhampir {Moroi [vampires] body guards}) and Moroi (vamps). It it interesting, and i love this book. I would read it again, if it would give me the same thrill as the first time.
5 stars and two thumbs up....

Okay, I LOVE The Hunger Games. I've been meaning to buy it forever but haven't gotten around to it. Also, Wintergirls is an absolutely AMAZING book. The end was a little predictable but you didn't think about that the entire book; that's how good it is! Hmm...Jane Eyre is a bit long but it's my favorite classic. Besides that, I can't really think of any good books to suggest...have you ever read The Giver?
You're welcome! It's about this kid named Jonas who's world is perfect and there're no choice about anything, till he's chosen to become the next Receiver of Memory and he sees things from before the world turned perfect. It's really good, though the ending leaves much to be desired. There are two sequels, though.
Hey, I love the book too, it's great :)
